Tokens are units that measure AI usage on the platform. They are consumed when you generate questions through chat, review free-text answers, create tests from documents, or add explanations to questions.

Token consumption varies depending on task complexity, text length, and conversation history.

On average, 1 million input tokens can generate approximately 400–800 questions through chat. Longer conversations and more detailed requests consume more tokens.

Input tokens cover your requests and materials sent to the AI (questions, uploaded documents, instructions).

Output tokens cover the AI's responses (generated questions, explanations, review results). Output tokens are typically needed in larger quantities, which is why their limit is higher.

For paid plans: tokens renew automatically at the beginning of each billing month. Unused tokens do not carry over.

For the Free plan: tokens are provided once upon registration and do not renew. When they're used up, you can continue using the platform manually or upgrade to a paid plan.

AI features (question generation, answer review, test creation from files, explanation generation) will become unavailable until your tokens renew.
